Season 2026: what to know before visiting Krka National Park
Summer crowds at Skradinski Buk are easy to avoid — if you know when to arrive and which entrance to use. Tips from our licensed local guides.
In July and August, Krka National Park limits the number of visitors at Skradinski Buk, so tickets for popular time slots sell out fast.
Our tips:
- Arrive before 9 am or after 4 pm — the light is better and the crowds are gone.
- The Lozovac entrance is often faster in summer than the boat from Skradin.
- Roški Slap and the Krka monastery are just as rewarding, and far quieter.
